Working at ASVA

Attention: Unfortunately, ASVA is only hiring Dutch speakers at this time.

The ASVA student union is looking after the interests of students of both the UvA and the HvA. Five board members devote their expertise full-time. They direct approximately 25 students who each have their own tasks. Working at ASVA means acquiring a lot of experience and, at the same time, contributing to a good cause: looking after the interests of thousands of Amsterdam students.

ASVA does not only offer a fun job with a lot of freedom, but also offers work experience that fits your schooling and a great work climate with fellow students.

Working at ASVA is partly devoting yourself to a good cause, but it is mainly a job with many possibilities and responsibilities. Next to your general tasks, you are also expected to occasionally participate in some of ASVA's many activities.

Are you happy with the way ASVA works and do you want to help us out? Or do you think ASVA is doing something wrong? We are always open for new ideas and initiatives within our organisation and are always looking for active students who want to reinforce us at ASVA. There are various ways to do help us: you can, for example, help us out at an event, write a blog, or make a short clip. Are you interested or do you have an idea? Do not hesitate, and send an e-mail to annick@asva.nl.
